Hello, I’m Kerry—welcome to Horizon
I have worked in financial services for over 26 years, starting my career with HSBC, where I spent 13 years as a Financial Planning Manager and Senior Premier Relationship Manager.
For the past 13 years, I have run my own financial services boutique, helping clients with mortgage, protection, and estate planning advice.
For me, good advice is about more than products and paperwork. It is about listening carefully, communicating clearly, and building strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust.
Following the pandemic, I joined VouchedFor, often described as TripAdvisor for professionals. I am proud to have been recognised as a Top Rated Adviser for the sixth consecutive year, based purely on client feedback.
I believe a joined-up approach to financial and estate planning helps keep things simple. Having one point of contact for your mortgage, protection and estate planning needs means you can feel more organised, supported and confident about the future.
When I am not helping clients, I love spending quality time with my children, Ava and Izaak. We are happiest enjoying our local beaches, sea swimming, walking and watching live music.

In this industry, I think it is important to be open and honest about our motivations and why we do what we do.
I have worked in financial services for over 26 years, and talking about life’s uncertainties and “what if” situations is part of my everyday work. But I also understand that, for most people, these are not everyday conversations. They can feel uncomfortable, emotional or easy to put off.
My own experience has shaped the way I support my clients.
When my Dad passed away, I had written his Will, so I knew what he wanted to happen. At a time when I was grieving and not thinking as clearly as normal, having his wishes documented made a very difficult situation that little bit easier. It allowed decisions to be made from a more informed place, rather than through uncertainty and emotion.
That experience stayed with me.
It is one of the reasons I am so passionate about helping people get the right plans in place — not because we expect the worst to happen, but because having things organised can make life so much easier for the people we love.
My aim is to make the process feel clear, supportive and manageable, so you can feel reassured that you have done what you can to protect yourself, your family and your future.
